Hywel Dda University Health Board has been working to transform their mental health system. For the last two years they have been developing a community based service, drawing on some of the experience of a twinned service in Trieste. Italy. IMHCN provided facilitated support to the formal twinning collaboration between the two Mental Health Organisations. This has led to innovative solutions based on the principles of a Whole Person, Whole Life, Whole Systems Approach. The proposed changes have been subject to an extensive public consultation process amongst the communities in West Wales.
